As Green Tara I aim to reconnect to the land and encourage others to do the same.

Tara appears in Buddhism as a feminine buddha. According to legend, she rose from a lotus, out of the waters of a lake. Green Tara is a forest and healing goddess, associated with plant life, flowers, trees and the wind. For me her Green colour symbolises the possibility of the future, the colour of spring, the emergence of new life.

Having grown up in the city, I didn’t have much connection to the natural world. Like many people during lockdown, I discovered my green fingers. Since then. I have grown all kinds of plants. Below are some images of the fruits of my labour.
